Senior students are provided with opportunities to participate in Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs, along with work experience placements in partnership with the Shire of Gascoyne, supporting successful pathways beyond school.

LEARNING

Sports and Physical Recreation

Students across all year levels participate in regular morning fitness activities designed to support both physical wellbeing and mental health. These sessions include a range of team-based and individual skill-building activities, utilising equipment from the school’s well-resourced sports shed.

Fitness activities are primarily conducted within class groups, with whole-school sessions held at times to promote teamwork, cooperation, and mutual respect. Students also take part in a variety of whole-school sporting events, including an annual Fun Run and Sports Carnival, and, when qualified instructors are available, a structured swimming program.

Healthy lifestyle education is embedded across classroom programs, with a strong focus on healthy eating initiatives and practical cooking experiences. Students demonstrate a sound understanding of healthy choices, supported through positive partnerships with families.
